SPANISH LANGUAGE COURSES IN ALICANTEThis is a sister school of our long established school in Vitoria and several courses are common to both schools. Location The school is located right in the city centre and close to all amenities –shops, market, theatres, bars, restaurants, harbour, beaches, bus station etc. It is 7-10 minutes on foot from the beach, in a very dynamic and commercial area of Alicante. Premises The building is air-conditioned and the rooms have high ceilings and glazed tiles covering the walls and ancient ceramics on the floor (typical on the Mediterranean coast). This setting gives the school the style of the early 20th century houses, with a modern touch in its furniture and decor at the classrooms. Access is available for disable students. The Spanish language school in Alicante has: An ample reception area, where you will find a sofa, armchairs and easy chairs to relax during the breaks between your Spanish lessons. Here you will also find a great deal of tourist information about Alicante as well as bulletin boards with the activities offered by the school. There is also information on events in and around Alicante to help you enjoy your stay in the city. The adminsitration office is always available to advise you on your options for Spanish classes, accommodation, and activities in Alicante and the surrounding area. A teachers’ room, where all the work material and books are kept and where your Spanish teachers prepare your Spanish lessons and create new activities. A small central atrium with chairs, tables, plants and a sunshade for when you want to take a break in the open air. A computer area, where you can send and receive your e-mails. A study room, where you will find plenty of self-studying activities, books for different Spanish language levels, literature, reference books, dictionaries and grammar books so you can practice a bit more. Complementary material is also at your disposal for the preparation of the Cervantes Institute exams. 8 classrooms, each decorated in a different style, but all pleasant and welcoming and with video and audio equipment. Free Internet access is available on the computers at the resources centre. Smoking is not allowed in the language school.
Alicante Spanish language school capacity The maximum capacity of the Spanish school is about 100 students in morning and afternoon shifts. The average number of students is 60. Most students come during the summer – in June and July and the least come in December, January and February.
