The Standard Course is held throughout the year on 6 (monthly)

from Monday to Friday, usually beginning at 9am. If there are many
participants the Standard Course may also be held in the afternoon at 2pm.

group, or wish to increase their knowledge, the Small Group Intensive Course
is tailor-made for their needs. Together with no more than 5 participants
they will have 6 hours of daily intensive language course. The Small Group
Intensive Course is held in Florence and Siena.

"ITALY TODAY" - ITALIAN LANGUAGE AND
CULTURE COURSE

For students who want to learn Italian and at the same time
become acquainted with the culture and history and the current social and
political situation of their host country, we suggest to choose the "Italy
Today" Course. In addition to the 4 lessons Standard Course in the morning,
in the afternoon they will be introduced to art and culture, history and
folklore, press and films as well as the current political and economical
situation of Italy.
The cultural part of this course consists in 10 supplementary lessons in two
weeks.

Students wishing to study Italian for longer periods are
especially welcome at our schools and receive special care and attention
from our staff, as well as benefiting from our long-term discounted prices.
With this course, students profit from all the advantages of learning a
language in the country where it is spoken. Through our experience in
teaching the Italian language, we know that the ideal minimum stay for a
course is 12 weeks. Not only you will have more confidence in your language
skills, but instead of feeling like you are on holiday, you will be
completely immersed in the Italian culture and way of life. Many of our
long-terms students are preparing to enter university or rounding off their
Italian Long-Term Standard Course with the recognised AIL "Firenze"

Continual language practice, maximum concentration through an
intensive work with your personal teacher and, especially, active practising
of your communication skills guarantee your swift progress and success in
the shortest possible time.
Thanks to our proven individual system LinguaKit, we are able to
suit your private tuition programme to your wishes regarding dates and areas
of interest.
These individual courses may start on any weekday of the year.
The intensity of 3 to 8 lessons daily can be decided by the participant.
The private tuition can also be organised to include lunch with
your teacher.
If you are not a beginner, the private tuition can also include
vocabulary oriented to certain professions.
Duration
Minimum enrolment term is 5 days which can be extended according
to your wishes. Minimum 3 to maximum 8 lessons per day. You may change the
course intensity from week to week to suit yourself.
Dates
You can start our courses on any weekday of the year, however, we
suggest you begin on Mondays. Private lessons during the week of Christmas
and New Year only on request.

Professional Courses
Should you already have a sufficient knowledge of Italian (and
only in this case), you can also learn vocabulary that is oriented to your
profession, such as accountancy, banking, general business Italian, trading,
import and export, insurance, marketing, tourism, law, medicine etc.

Our schools are recognized examination centres of the Accademia Italiana di
Lingua (AIL), and we organize preparatory courses for the different Italian
examinations "Firenze" of the AIL.
We organize different courses (Standard courses combined with specific
Preparatory courses) for beginners as well as advanced students.
Duration:
From 4 to 24 weeks,
depending on your knowledge of the Italian language:

necessary to prepare yourself for the different exams.

ITALIAN INTERNSHIP
PROGRAM

The
school offers you the unique experience of living and working in Italy. The
Work Experience & Internship programme consists of three stages:
1.
First you have to
attend an Italian language preparation course with a minimum duration of
four weeks and minimum 4 lessons/day.
2.
During the last 2
weeks of your language course you will be prepared for the internship
in a professional orientation course.
3.
The third stage
consists in an unpaid internship in a carefully selected Italian company for
one to four months.
The minimum duration is 4 weeks that can be extended up to 16
weeks (or as long as your visa is valid). You may choose from several
sectors listed under unpaid experience. The position offered is influenced
by the applicant’s previous work experience, education and level of Italian.
Most of the employ locations are in Florence, Rome, Siena or Milan. We
assist you in selecting the Internship company according to your curriculum
vitae and interests. We arrange your meetings with the internship
coordinator to plan your internship experience. We will help you with the
interview with the chosen companies. We will assist you to get the permit of
stay and to define contact agreement with the selected company. We will
monitor your internship experience together with the internship company.
During your Internship experience you will get an insurance covering
workplace accidents.
At the end of your Internship program you will receive a Certificate stating
the Italian proficiency and the acquired Internship experience.

design / Web marketing; other fields on request.
ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR

The ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR course is a 32 week language and
culture course for students who wish to experience living and studying in
Italy. The course combines not only language courses with Italian culture
classes at the school but the syllabus also incorporates the fundamental
elements of level C2 of the European Language Portfolio.
All in all, this course offers students the opportunity to see at
first hand the various aspects of Italy’s rich history and culture. The
course is composed of a linguistic element and an academic element:
1) Linguistic element:
- 480 lessons of the standard language course
- 80 lessons of preparation for the two Diploma «Firenze» AIL
exams
DILI (intermediate level) and
DALI (advanced level)
2) Academic element (80 lessons):
- Italian Civilisation and History
- Art History
- Business Italian
- History of Italian Fashion and Design

The duration of
the whole stay is 32 weeks, (34 weeks for the course starting in September
and including two weeks of Christmas Holidays where no courses are
