Home Page	The schools were founded in 1977 and are located in the historical centres of Florence, Rome and Siena. They rank among the best known language Institutes in Italy. The school teaches Italian to students and professionals from all over the world. The school is a founder member of the Accademia Italiana di Lingua (AIL) promoting the first Diploma of modern Italian language, the "Diploma di lingua italiana Firenze".	The Ponte Vecchio
	The school is also a founder member of ASILS (Association of language schools of Italian as a foreign language) which controls and guarantees the quality of the associated member schools.
	Getting There FlorenceFlorence is readily accessible either from Turin or Pisa, being 45 minutes by train from either. The Instituto is quite close to the train station in Florence. Possibly the easiest route is to fly into Florence airport. This requires a transfer in another European city, but is very convenient. You could also fly into Rome, which you may find cheaper, but the train journey will take about 3 hours. The same is true of Milan.
