Florence only!!

This course, available to beginners and advanced students, has a duration of 4 weeks (prolongable) and is usually organised in the following way: Unidimensional representation, importance of lines in an object’s character, discovery of chiaroscuro and artistic composition demonstrated by ancient and modern examples. After the first two weeks dedicated to still life, the course will be held outdoors, weather permitting, in order to study the representation of nature and landscape. Together with the teacher the student will draw in some of the nicest parks in Florence and small streets in the hills, discovering at the same time pleasant new aspects of the city. In this second part of the course it will be possible for students who want to draw the human body to sketch numerous statues in our parks. The course will be held in two afternoon lessons of about 3 hours each per week.
