| Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
Any exception to this is subject to special arrangements. Before enrolling for a course, participants must make sure that there are no restrictions preventing them from participating in a language course in Italy. Participants are obliged to abide by the course and house regulations applicable at the Institute and places of residence. The participant is liable directly to the aggrieved party for any and all damage he or she causes. Should the participant cause any damage for which the Institute is held liable, the Institute is entitled to indemnification by the participant The Institute does not assume any liability should it be prevented
by force majeure, or by any other reason for which it is not responsible, from providing
its services. Applications should reach the school possibly 30 days before the beginning of the course together with the following deposit: For group language courses = registration fee (135.000 Italian Lire / 70 Euro), - for private tuition = 20% of the total course fees. The deposit will be deducted from the total amount. Upon receipt of the confirmation the balance has to be paid at least 30 days before the beginning of the course. For last minute enrollments the entire amount must be paid at once. All payments may be made by International Post Money Order or by International Bank Cheque or Euro-Cheque. If you transfer sums via bank, we have to charge you for the whole transfer costs. Cancellations: Insurance Participants are not insured against illness, accidents, theft or loss of personal possessions, either by the schools or by those offering the accommodation. We therefore recommend taking out a personal insurance policy. Medical Insuranve Citizens from European Community countries are entitled to free medical care in Italy if they hold an E111 form which can be obtained from their local health authority in their home country before departing for Italy. Students from non-EEC countries must check with the competent authorities in their countries whether they are insured during a stay abroad; if they are not covered, they should take out a health insurance policy to cover their stay in Italy. Visas Western European citizens do not require a visa to enter Italy. Citizens of other countries should contact their nearest Italian Embassy or Consulate to check the details regarding entry permits. Certificates can only be issued by the schools after a registration has been received and the deposit paid |
