Entry Requirement

A good knowledge of French is necessary (or D.E.L.F. level 2).

Teaching and study hours:

• 22 hours of tuition per week.
• 16 hours available for private study (optional) in our multimedia resource centre

Course Content :

• Revision and further practice of French. Revision and broadening of technical vocabulary in your chosen area of speciality.
• Introduction to university study techniques, including : 
• note-taking, summerizing, preparing seminars
• dissertation writing, use of quotations
• presentations and public speaking

Preparation for modules of the D.A.L.F. qualification is included in the course
